Actually I called the nurse in, freaking out that I was bleeding, hahaha that is what is SUPPOSE to happen then... </p> <p>With my DS, my water randomly broke and there was no mucous plug in sight. Seriously never saw even a spot or tinge thru the entire pregnancy. I was also not dilated at all ever. </p> <p>With my second, was almost 3 cm dilated for weeks and lost my plug in pieces for weeks. I like to say i left my plug in pieces all over town. Seriously, every time I went to the bathroom! When the nurse in triage examined me, my bloody show and mucous plug happened. We called the nurse in because I thought my water broke, but it was just more of the show. I had bloody show and *tons* of it. I basically felt like I was bleeding like a light period for all 3 days I was in labor. I actually went to the doctor's office and the hospital twice before I was admitted b/c I was totally freaked out about the blood, but they just laughed it off and said "oh that's just bloody show". I actually never heard of it before joining HB! Anyhow, I was telling my BFF about how I haven't even had ANY sign of mucous plug or the bloody show and she was totally confused. She didn't have either with her LO. Or I think maybe she didn't realize it? She had to have her water broken for her during delivery, so she said maybe they "unplugged" her then? lol? omg - that sounds so weird. </p> <p>Did anyone go into labor and never have lost (or noticed it) their mucous plug or bloody show? </p>
