She nursed around every 3-4 hrs during the day. DD kept the same average number of feeds per 24-hour period (6-7 feeds), just did them all during the day. So yes she is now feeding more frequently during the day. Mine didn't eat between 8 PM-6 AM by about 2.5-3 months old. During the day he ate every 3 hours, and he ate a lot. He'd eat between 4-6 ounces at a time for most midday feedings, and nursed for a good 25-30 minutes when waking up in the morning and before bed (or he'd get a huge pumped bottle before bed). She ate every 3-4 hours or so during the day, but she was bottle fed so she took pretty large quantities during those feeds. When she started STTN she was nursing around every 2 hours and then constantly for 45-90 min before I put her down at night (already asleep from nursing).
