Yes Baby D has these too. It was so much poop at first that I thought for sure something was wrong...but it's just how he poops. Now that he's eating solids the massive poops are MUCH more interesting...

Unfortunately, this is totally normal! Sometimes Xander went a whole week without pooping as an infant and then there'd be a disaster!

Wow, that would be awesome if you could control that. But, to give you a light at the end of the tunnel, the poops firm up after you start solids.

LO is only FF, but his poops are more frequent when I use half regular infant and half gentle formula

My child went multiple times a day and still had big blowouts frequently. It is just one of those lovely motherhood things you get to deal with and have no control over.

I'm afraid it's only going to be a dream. It's like this for T! His favorite place to poop is wherever home isn't. I just plan for it! I can almost count on it! Haha.

My daughter will be 5 weeks tomorrow. I'm breastfeeding and supplementing with formula. Since we added formula, her poops have gotten all out of whack. Sometimes, she'll poop once a day or once every other day. Our pediatrician said that that's okay.

But then sometimes she'll go 2-3 days without a poop and then we know we're in for a massive blowout when it finally happens. And while she doesn't seem to be in any major discomfort, I'd like to avoid these blowouts in the future (they're so bad and messy that I'm afraid to leave the house when she's due for one).

Has anyone else dealt with this? Any suggestions for getting her on a once a day poop schedule, or am I dreaming?
