I swelled up so much with my first pregnancy and acupuncture helped reduce it. They have some pattend leather on them so I think they'll work for the parties. They are pretty fancy parties so I definitely couldn't do birks or slippers. (DH's company party at a posh restaurant). At least they were only $20. :bummed: as for work, I think I'll bring slippers to change into under my desk. I wore two pairs of shoes at the end of my pregnancy. And a lot of times, I kicked them off under my desk. My Minnetonka moccasins are still ok too. But neither will really work if you have to actually get dressed up.
