He was overstimulated and we had a lot of ppl at the house. He catnapped for 20 min on the drive home. But that was it. It's super annoying! The only way I can get her to nap is to put her in her carrier and walk the dog. I have to put a blanket over her head or she'll look around. She doesn't do anything with her ears. She gets hot and lethargic, but seems better pretty quick after Motrin. All she wants to do is play. But she screams bloody murder basically as soon as I put her down or leave her alone. If she's with me, she's seems perfectly happy. We go through this as well. The last two days - no naps! And she's exhausted but won't sleep. Of course she was falling asleep around 5 which isn't good. So it was an early dinner then straight to bed! K is sick, but she has refused to nap all day. I mean, crying in the crib for an hour, flat out screaming… I'm at my wits end (and it's almost 5:30 pm here!) I would take her out in the car to try and get a nap, but it's raining. Yesterday she napped 20 min. and 38 min. all day. </p> <p>I thought a fever and being sick usually makes babies MORE sleepy? wth?! Of course my child refuses to sleep even more than usual. :crying: </p>
