Since we had recently been to the aquarium and zoo in our hometown (and they are $$$) we decided on Storyland. LO absolutely loved it! It was story book characters/structures in the city park. I'd be happy to tell you all about it over email or something. We stayed in the French Quarter, a block off Bourbon street which was lol, honestly, but we found plenty of fun stuff to do. We spent a ton of time just walking around and exploring the French Quarter, which we all really enjoyed. The little ferry that goes across the Mississippi was a hit. All of the normal restaurants were friendly enough for children, although I did not see a ton of other ones. The insectarium is hilarious, not really worth the money, though. The music was wonderful to walk around in. There's a giant mall on the riverfront if you want to get out of the heat. Oh and there is a park and zoo in the Garden District that you can take the trolley too. We will be stopping in New Orleans for two nights and one day. I know we are a little crazy for doing this but it is what it is. So has anyone been to NOLA with the kiddos? What would you suggest we do during our visit? Places to eat? Anything else i should know? Thanks! </p>
