I find that sheets geared to kids are all poly blends. I found some cute geometric patterned sheets in twin size and use those.

I found that most kids sheets are poly blends. I just really don't like poly blend fabric... makes me feel hot so I figure must make the kids hot. Our summers are very warm here. I did find 100% cotton sheets from Pottery Barn Kids.

I always check the tags to make sure it's 100% cotton, and my kids prefer flannel. They sleep with flannel sheets 9 months of the year!

I don't think kids can really tell the difference. I assume the poly blends are cheaper to produce but I would also bet they are less prone to shrinking as well. My LOs have a mix of both. We have tons of crib length sheets since DD1 is in a toddler bed and DD2 is in a crib.

I stick to 100% cotton for sheets (and kids' clothes as much as possible.) They breathe better and prevent sweatiness.

I seek out 100% cotton. I hate poly blends but I'm a fabric snob.

Maybe it has to do with skin sensitivity but my mom and sister both think the blends are nice and softer. For me polyester blends makes my skin dry and cracked and I itch like crazy.

I'm looking for extra twin size sheets for my twins' big boy beds. I always go 100% cotton for my own sheets but am noticing a lot of the sheets in "kids" patterns are 60% cotton 40% polyester or even 100% polyester. Can kids tell the difference? Do they hold up? Or do I need to seek out 100% cotton? 100% poly just sounds gross but not sure on the blends.
