@rahlyrah: @swurlygurl: You're right. Every pregnancy IS different but that is certainly some major encouragement! I would be totally okay with this baby coming any day now!

Mine wasn't bloody. I lost a huge chunk on a Saturday and a few smaller pieces the subsequent days. I went into labor the following Sunday :)

My friend at work just had her baby on Monday, and she lost her mucus plug (not bloody at all) the Thursday before. She was 38 weeks and she was 3 cm 90%
Mayyybe you're close? I know every pregnancy is SO different though

I lost my mucous plug over about a weeks time, and it was always yellow and snot-like. Never bloody. I didn't have a bloody show until I was well into labor. I would say, since you're 2 cm and 90%, it sounds like you're losing your mucous plug.

I had lots of extra discharge leading up to delivery. I didn't get a bloody show or a mucus plug until in triage with contractions close.

Mine was a huge ball of snot looking grossness. No blood at all. Then a few weeks later I got my bloody show.

Towards the end I had more discharge, but nothing I could describe as a mucus plug or bloody show. Those are common signs of labor, but not necessary.

I am 37 weeks and at my last appt we discovered I am 2cm and 90% effaced. Yay progress! These past few days I have also been getting this super thick yellowy snot like discharge. At first I was worried it was some kind of infection (gross) but according to Dr. Google (I know, so reliable!) it could be my mucus plug! Apparently it isn't always bloody. AKA, my "bloody show" may be more of just a "show". Has anybody else ever heard of this? I don't want to bother my OB over it since it really doesn't matter. Not like I am going into labor right now or that there is anything wrong with the baby. I was just wondering if anybody else has ever experienced this or heard of it. If it isn't that my only other guess is just a change in discharge... a very thick, chunky snot like change. (Isn't pregnancy sexy?!)
