It may not be healthy, but my daughter loves pasta and will eat it cold. She won't eat meat, so we sometimes have to keep some with us (like at a parade yesterday). Supplement with fruit and veggies?

@Mrs. Carrot: cold tortellini tossed in a little olive oil, maybe the fun tricolor kind, with some sliced sausage or cubes of ham. Maybe a fun food pick to pick up the pasta.

Cold fried (I do pan fried) chicken or grilled chicken is great. My kid loves eating cold chicken. Edamame. Fruit. Applesauce pouch.

Lo loves mozzarella, tomato, basil, olives, cucumber (etc. Whatever veggies I have in the house.) We've all like it sor I'll make a big salad and we take it in smaller containers to the park/beach.

Can you just do deconstructed sandwiches and send some deli meat or chicken salad, cheese slices or sticks? My LO generally eats her sandwiches deconstructed still; but will eat all the "parts" if offered.

Otherwise, what about a pasta salad with shredded chicken in it for protein? Egg muffins? Empanada or a little homemade calzone (served room temp)?

Can you do nut butter? Maybe make some crackers with nut butter sandwiched inside?

A rollup of some kind, maybe with hummus?

LO's daycare is doing a picnic every week where they want kids to bring their own lunches (usually they get lunches there). My kid doesn't eat sandwiches, so I can think of a bunch of sides and things that she will like, but I'm blanking on what I can pack for her that's a little more substantive than just veggies. So far I've got veggies, which she loves, cheese, crackers... would love some other ideas. She's 3 so nothing that involves construction, ideally.
