I love it. But we don't put her in the car seat with it. I tend to put a light jacket or none at all and then a blanket over the car seat becaus dyne coat is so thick and warm and my kid is a sweater. You can't go wrong with NF. And the Gap ones have been great for us too!</p> <p>It's not recommended to put your LO's in their car seats with their winter coats on, especially the puffy ones...but I'm totally guilty of doing it occasionally but mostly on short drives that are 5-10 minutes max. If the car is really cold I still take their coats off and actually put them on backwards with their hands through the sleeves so they can stay warm enough until the car warms up. And it's easy to pull off from the front if you can reach your LO. We live in Edmonton, and this year it's already gotten to -20 and she has been toasty! It's thin enough that we feel safe leaving it on her while she's in her car seat. We live in Chicago and the winters here are brutal!!! I got her a puffy Gap one but thinking of returning it for a North Face one that we found for the same price. DH thinks North Face will be warmer. Any of your LOs have a North Face winter coat they love? Do they wear it while in car seat or do you take it off and put back on? </p>
