I got almost all of my sons sicknesses and used the mosefrieda but I think I would have gotten sick anyhow. My guess is you picked up germs via snuggling or caring for baby. I know I get almost all of J's colds because they are most contagious early on, before you even realize they're sick sometimes. The snot sucker people claim it filters out microbes, but I don't know if I trust that 100%. It's possible that it could get you sick, just not that quickly. But after a particularly tough suction-session, I almost instantly felt something wrong in my throat. Ugh. I feel like something is coming on. Is the filter supposed to prevent germs from going into my mouth, or is just to prevent actual snot? Did I just inhale all of LOs germs (her first cold). I haven't been sick since she was born. :( </p>
