@Alivoo01: Our bulb aspirator has a plug so that you can clean out the inside. It's from the Red Cross and I got it at our local grocery store. No experience with the NoseFrida but I've been tempted to purchase one.

We use the graco electric nasal aspirator. It is the closest thing I have found to the awesome nasal aspirators we use in our NICU. You have to use fresh batteries in it (battery power really effects the suction) but it works awesome.

Guess my positioning is off since I already use saline drops first. I'll try toggling it around next time! Thanks ladies!!

Sometimes I don't get much but I know there is stuff up there. So I try the drops. I think it helps to have the end in her nose a little bit.

Last night I thought that I broke her sinus's or something cause so much snot kept coming out after I finished sucking. Which never happens but I guess I really just got it loosen up!

When i put it in her nose, I also toggle it around. Sometimes it works while i'm rotating it. She haaaaates it, though. Saline drops would definitely help! Or steam up the bathroom first. A couple of times, I get nothing out, wait a few min, then try again and everything comes out.

You have to toggle the nose frida around whilst its in the baby's nose, until you get the right position.
I love the nose frida, so easy to clean and disinfect

Same as @chopsuey. I usually put her on the changing table use saline spray, change her diaper to let the spray set in, then suck with the nose frida. Works really well for us!

I use saline mist first, wait a second then I suck.
Are you sure you're positioning the nose frida correctly? It works SO well for me all the time.. !

eta: the couple times I got nothing was because I didn't position it correctly .. gotta point it towards the opening of the nasal passage/cavity/whatever it's called

We purchased the NoseFrida because it was highly raved about here on the hive. However, we haven't had much luck with it (zero boogers come out no matter how hard I suck on it) and the hospital given bulb aspirator is working better for us. DS has HUGE boogers deep in his nose. However, I can't thoroughly clean the bulb (I use warm soapy water and rinse the bulb) and I'm sure it's super gross and stinky inside so I'd like to use the NoseFrida instead, but like I said, no luck. Even if I use saline drops in DS's nose first! Anyone not have luck with the NoseFrida? If you didn't, what do you use instead?
