Now it doesn't bother her at all?!? I have no idea what changed...I guess she just got used to it and realized that it's actually helping her. Kinda how she got used to baths. Repetition has made it easier and I'm glad so I can do it by myself and if he's ever sick it won't be a huge ordeal. So maybe try doing it for tiny bits of time more frequently? This way, the warm air helps clear her nose, the noise calms her down, and she relaxes a little. DH holds her while I use the 'frida on her. Also, we pause and let her suck her paci between every suck'fest. I can only imagine how awful it feels to have someone suck snot out of my nose.</p> <p>I know this sounds awful but I have to use my forearm to pin down my lo's arms. Sometimes DH helps to hold LO still. That way, it creates a positive experience. She will still knock it away sometimes but, for the most part, she'll sit really still when I put it up to her nose. I used some saline drops before using it and it was really effective, especially compared to the bulb aspirator.</p> <p>BUT - LO hates it. She screams bloody murder and thrashes all around making it pretty difficult to use. She even ended up with a tiny nick on her nose and I felt terrible :o( </p> <p>What is your method for using the Nosefrida when LO thrashes around? </p>
