Is the diaper coming up high enough on her back? LO had this problem the other night, but I rushed putting on her diaper and didn't get it high enough on her back and then it just came out the back.

I always pull the straps super tight (overlap) but you probably know best on your own baby and it likely depends on what diaper you use. I use seventh generation and they really hold the pee!

@Alivoo01: @MrsTiz: They don't overlap--if they did I think they'd be way too tight? There's about a cm gap between them.

@MrsTiz: It just depends on thebaby and fit. I know every time we move up in size, the first few weeks, the velcros overlap so that it's tight enough on DS. Otherwise, he leaks up his side when he sleeps. Eventually, they don't overlap and are further apart the bigger he gets until we move him up again. Does that make sense?

@Alivoo01: should they? I never know if I have it on tight enough.

It might be too loose or too big. How's the fit around S's waist when the diaper is on? Do the velcros overlap?

For the past couple of weeks occasionally if S has a wee lying down, somehow it will go straight up the back and out of the nappy soaking her layers of clothing. Does this mean the nappy is too tight, too lose, too big or too small? We moved up a size maybe 3-4wks ago and she's now in Pampers 9-15lbs size and she weighs 10lbs.

We very rarely have a blowout and all poo is pretty much contained in the nappy. So it's just the wee! What are we doing wrong?
