Around 9 months she also cut back a lot on the milk and wanted to eat more solids. Some days were as low as 12 oz. I tend to give her extra calories when she eats solids, like adding butter when I can. Every time we changed something it was like he was refusing all over again. He even stopped taking both formula and pumped breast milk. We ended up putting it in a sippy cup instead of a bottle. </p> <p>We added oil to purees and he refused anything on a spoon. We also go instructions (from our doctor) on how to increase the calories in the formula (I am assuming this is formula) so less ounces was more calories. </p> <p>You could also bulk up the solids. We added a lot of calories through avocado, oil and butter added to the solids. She gets 6ozs every 4 hours. Then she eats 3 meals. He doctor wants her to drink more then 6ozs cause she hasn't gained any weight in a month and half. </p> <p>Is this normal? Phase since we are traveling? </p>
