I have a 12yr old, 8 yr old and 2yr old. So, I've been there A LOT lol<br /> My 2yr old is not quite 28months - so still 'just' 2 and she is just now starting to listen. Like within the past month. I think it has a lot to do with her talking late. It's so frustrating and i am just so tired of repeating myself! Anyone else experienced this? Is it hopefully just a phase? </p> <p>It points to a larger issue which is that he doesn't listen to me AT ALL. He listens somewhat to his dad, but it seems everything I say is optional or just goes in one ear and out the other. Any tips for improving listening? I've read to get on their level, talk in simple words, perhaps give choices. What's worked best for you? </p>
