@birdofafeather: :) I just feel like I don't know what I'm doing, so I'm questioning all of my decisions. Thank you for the reassurance!

He's getting it, it's just taking him longer! Definitely stick with it! I learned with potty training that there are so many ups and downs but unless they are openly defiant, you should keep chugging!

Not sure what the problem is, but just wanted to say it took a couple weeks of trying bottomless/undies at home before dd got it, and she was a little over 2.5. Then when she got it, she got it. Good luck!

Two weeks ago we did the 3 day method with my 2.5 year old twins. DD figured it out in about half a day, and has had a great deal of success. DS.... not so much. He's fantastic when he has nothing on- he'll run right to his potty and go, so pleased with himself when he does. When he's wearing undies, however, it's a different story. He doesn't seem to realize anything has happened until he's soaking wet, and which point he'll run over to his potty. We've been going bottomless at home as much as possible, but I can't stay at home forever. I'm doing Pull Ups when we go out since I know that his bladder can't be trusted when he's got anything on. The thing is, he hates to sit on the potty when I ask him to, so I can't help him make sure he empties his bladder before it gets too full. Should I just keep at it with the bottomless at home thing, Pull Ups when we're out? Give it up all together? Some other suggestion?
