Yesterday at my doctor's appointment, I was surprised to find out I was 1 cm dilated and 70% effaced. Later on in the evening, some of my mucus plug had come out while I was showering. I was excited but still figured I had time because I've procrastinated and still have tons of stuff I wanted to do before the baby gets here! This morning, I woke up with the bloody show, pink and mucus-y, but it was also accompanied by some fluid. It felt like I had lost control of my bladder, but it was just a little bit of leaking and not gushing out, so I let my husband go to work with the car. I did some cleaning and cooking in the kitchen and still felt some squirts here and there. I checked my pantiliner and yes, it was soaked, but not soaked through - still pink-tinged color. Because husband has the car, I couldn't drive to my doctor's office to have them check and the doctor will be out by the time husband gets home. Anyway, I'm going to have to go straight to the hospital to get this fluid checked out, but...I'll be kinda sad if I have to be admitted right then and there if it really is my water breaking. Bad thing is, I don't even have contractions yet, and I really had wanted to labor at home for as long as I wanted/could and to TRY for an all-natural birth. *Sigh* I doubt I can do it if I'm drugged up with Pitocin! :( Anyway, just wanted to rant.....it could end up being nothing though, in which case, I would like that very much! :) </p>
