DS is 3 months and he still eats 2-3 times a night. I'm not sure if it would work for you, but I just started weaning him from his night feedings this weekend. Basically, I'm just cutting down each bottle size by 1/2 ounce at each feeding; in a few days, I'll reduce each bottle another half ounce, so that, in a couple weeks, he won't be getting any bottles at night, anymore. If you're nursing, you can use the technique by reducing the amount of time your LO is feeding each time she wakes up.

My LO is almost 11 months old and not STTN. Some kids just have a harder time with it.

mine slept longer stints like magic when i figured out how to put him down for more frequent naps in the day (seems counter-intuitive)

our LO usually goes to sleep between 8-9 (she *was* at least, this week has been a struggle) and wakes up for a feed at around 2, then again at around 6 or 7.

Every baby is different. I've actually stopped looking at what my baby "should" be doing at certain ages because I was driving myself crazy. He is 14 weeks today and the night before last he slept 9 hous before waking up. But then last night he only slept 4 hours and was up every 2 hours after that. I'm really looking forward to getting some consistency soon!

Okay, last night she woke up at midnight, 3:30am, and then 6:30am. Since the last wake-up time was so close to her regular wake-up time it was so hard for her to fall back asleep.

@Mrs.Superhero, i've been there before! My husband and i would hi-5 each other when she would go 3 hours between feedings during the evening. It just drives me crazy when i read "your baby should now be sleeping 5-7 hours by now" because that is not the case!!

Sounds normal enough to me? Babies are all different, and that doesn't seem like a crazy amount of wake ups. My LO woke up every hour last night. Kill me now?

My LO is 11.5 weeks old (a little over 12 lbs), and only recently is sleeping better at night. Unfortunately, better does not mean sleeping through the night!

Her bedtime is around 8pm, and she will then sleep until midnight, at which point i will feed her. She will then wake up 1-2 times in the early morning (3am/6am) and i'll feed her then as well. If i'm lucky, she'll fall asleep right after a feed but if i feed her a little too much, i end up with her spitting up, pooping, hiccuping and not being able to get her to sleep for an hour!

Is it possible that she doesn't need these early morning feeds? Am i the only one who has to wake up to feed her little one? She normally eats every 3 hours during the day, but i thought this doesn't continue throughout the evening?
