OPK's do work with Clomid. You have to wait 3 days after the last pill before testing as they may give a false positive. The surge gives you a 24-48 hour window until ovulation. I would say your first darker line indicated your "real" positive. It seems as though your O day was CD17. Clomid gave you a good strong O!! Awesome!! Will you be getting your progesterone checked? It's usually 7 days after your O. Baby dust for sure!!

What days did you take your Clomid? I'd guess you ovulated on CD16 and just had a long surge.

Hey All -

I am new to this board and am looking for some advise. I am 39, TTC for 8 months now. Last month was the first month with an RE and all my test came out good. Awaiting SO count results (they are taking over two weeks to get back).

So my question is about this month. This month has been interesting. I received a OPK as follows:

CD 12 - no second line
CD 13 - no second line
CD 14 negative? second line but lighter than control
CD 15 positive as dark as control
CD 16 positive darker than control
CD 17 positive darker than control
CD 18 positive as dark as control
CD 19 positive as dark as control
CD 20 negative second line but lighter than control

It is my first month on clomid and the first month that I have received two days with very dark second lines and this many OPK positives. Previously the LH surge was on CD 12 to CD 14 with just second line appearing as dark as control (never darker.

I am thinking Oed on Cd 17 but cannot tell. Your thoughts?
