Potty Training suggests changing into a diaper specifically for daycare, walking the child through the process of going to the bathroom at daycare (who he should talk to, etc), and then going back to whatever you are doing at home. It's not ideal, but really the only logical thing given daycare. </p> <p>That said, we are in a similar position. LO will go pee in the potty if he's naked. However, if he has a diaper on he will tell me he needs to go pee or poop but when I offer to take him to the potty, he says: "no, me go pee/poop in my diaper." So.... I haven't left the house in 3 days and I'm going stir crazy. Anyways, DS is doing fairly well...as long as he's bottomless. He' started self initiating the first day and the only accidents he's had since the first morning were when I put underwear on him on Sunday and today I tried commando and he had an accident again. He even went poop in the little potty this morning. We did put him in pull ups for naps and night time but I'm not worrying about that right now.</p> <p>DS goes back to daycare tomorrow and I can't send him bottomless. Or commando, which is why I tried the underwear. I don't know if I should try pants again? Just keep him bottomless today and go back to diapers tomorrow? I feel kind of stuck. </p>
