That's our timeline and we kept everything. I'm letting friends borrow things here and there, but we are keeping. There are a few things I'll replace though

We are going through this right now but are hopefully looking at more of the 2-3 year gap.

Things we are selling:
- Swing (it was used to begin with and doesn't store easily)
- umbrella stroller (cheap to begin with)
- High chair (didn't love it and want something different)
- Baby bath tub

Things we are keeping
- Baby play mat (folds up)
- Jumper (was able to break down and fit into a box)
- Car Seat and Stroller (can expand to hold 2 kids)
- Toddler bath seat (they don't make it anymore)
- Bouncy seat because it turns into a rocking chair and my LO still uses it although we probably will get a new different one for the next because it wasn't great for the newborn stage.

Im a bit undecided about the pack and play because I don't love it but it stores easily and is nice to have at the house.

I say it depends on the quality of things and if they are gender neutral.
We splurged on everything *and* made sure it was gender neutral so that we could re-use it with multiple kids, even if they were far apart. I hope most of it lasts years and years because of this...

We would probably keep, though most of our toys, (exersaucer, play mat etc) were hand-me-downs that we will likely pass back after Sawyer is done with them.

My Mom had clothes from when we were babies packed away, and pulled them out when Sawyer was born! Those things were almost 30 years old!

I would keep. It would be such a hassle for me to sell and then rebuy. I don't think there is a great market for that around me and I would probably just end up spending more money overall.

We want maybe 5 years between. I intend to keep everything except the carseat/stroller travel system. DH wants to keep the stroller from the travel system--maybe we will?
I am definitely keeping the clothing!
Of course the only *large* gear we have is the crib/changer and the swing. I love both and will keep them (disassembled and possibly under our bed).

I would keep, especially things that are a smaller size to store. We are getting a lot of used stuff, and frankly most of it was used about 3 years ago, so if you're planning to buy used gear later, then you may be getting the same age of things as if you hang onto your original stuff and perhaps the quality will better with your original things because you know the history.

We bought out gear for Emma with having other children in mind- all of her big things like her playard, etc. are mocha so they could work for little boys too. I just think it's a waste to get pennies for things you shelled out big bucks for only to dole out even more money (thanks inflation) a few years later for the same stuff.

I would try to lend things out to friends or family in hopes to get it back (but knowing I wouldn't get everything back) or sell it if there wasn't space. As your LO grows you just get more and more stuff...... and if you don't have storage for the old stuff it has to go somewhere!

We sold a lot on Craiglist after DD 1 turned into a toddler. There was just no space in our NYC apt at the time. I did keep a few things, especially a few boxes of clothes I couldn't bear to part with. A lot of other clothes got donated.

When Baby 2.0 came along 3 years later, we bought a lot of things used through a local mom's group. We were gifted a lot of things again as well.

The baby gear market changed a lot in those 3 years too, so it was nice to buy things with improvements and new features.

Probably sell the car seat since I heard the plastic gets brittle over time and isn't as safe to use.

The jumperoo would be nice to keep though and some basic baby clothes.

We don't plan on trying for another baby for 3-4 years, so I'm trying to decide if we should keep or sell our baby gear? jumperoo, carseat...etc. We have very little storage, so I'm leaning toward selling.. what would you do?
