When she was teeny (and still now, to an extent) I did a deep squat so my back stayed pretty much straight. Like @NurseMommy: I would put one had behind her head, and pick up with the other. Stand up, then tie the bag up when you have two free hands again- very carefully :) </p> <p>The first few times I did it I felt like super woman-- Look at me! Now I don't bother with the stroller when walking to dog, I always put her in the beco. So much easier- though we only have one dog.
