Just a quick update. We had our 20-week ultrasound last Saturday and we are proud to announce we are having a BOY! Baby was very cooperative during the ultrasound and the tech was able to take the necessary pictures for measurements and to check that everything is okay. Looks like baby is healthy and kicking (literally)! I hope everybody is doing well!!! Like @lunalucca , it's been busy on my end. Work has taken a lot out of me the past month or two but thank God it died down a bit now. I caught on much needed sleep and mommy-daddy time this past long weekend. I hit the half way milestone yesterday at 20 weeks! No, we are not going green. We are certainly anxious to find out whether we will be planning for all blue or pink. Our ultrasound is this coming Saturday, July 13th and we're excited to find out what we're having. I was so anxious and wanted to find out early that I almost changed the appointment a week earlier. But I am holding out to make sure we are in the right number of weeks for more accurate results. We don't have a car seat or stroller yet. We are putting a lot on the registry as advised by many mommies in my family. We did acquire a crib early on. I found a pretty good deal on a 4-month old crib on craigslist. It's just a simple IKEA-ish style crib which is what we were looking for considering the time baby will spend on the crib. Oh and it was only $40! It was a crazy deal and saved us a lot of money. We opted to get new mattresses, again as advised by mommies in our family. We have yet to buy that though. Other than that, I've been feeling baby move more and more in the last two weeks. Last night, DH felt the baby move/kick for the first time. I have been so busy with work and sleeping all day that I have fallen right off the face of the internet (: I'm sure you know how it is! We are not team green, but it was not clear what gender the LO is at our 18w scan. We are going back on Wednesday to hopefully find out. We bought our stroller last week (Britax B-Agile!) and our car seat today (Britax Chaperone) and I am so happy to have that out of the way and ready to go!! Overall mama and baby are both healthy and happy. My EDD based off ovulation was Nov. 14, then the first ultrasound had me at Nov. 12 and the second was the 9th. By LMP it's the 9th so my doctor just stuck to that.
