A friend of mine said that as her belly stretched the whole center strip of her belly was numb. She said the feeling came back after the baby was born.

I don't have this, but I can see how a nerve might get pinched off causing some numbness!

Did anybody else have a numb patch or strip at the top of their belly during pregnancy? I'm 29 weeks. I know your muscles can stretch and tear as the uterus grows, so I'm assuming it's nerve issues from that. Is it permanent?

I have an OB appointment tomorrow so I'm going to ask but I was just curious.
