DD was given a few handmade items from a family friend with an envelope that had exactly $63 in it. I was told by my mom that it's lucky. The person that gave it is Hindu. We've kept it this whole time, but given that the value of the dollar has increased, we're thinking of finally converting all of LO's monetary gifts (we live abroad).

What's the meaning of the number 63 in the Hindu culture?

Eta: DH thinks I'm crazy for wanting to keep it.
