Our twins are 13 weeks and just recently started extending their overnight sleep. It meant dropping from 7 feedings per day to 6. We just started adding an extra 1/2 oz to each of their other bottles...they sort of figured out on their own that they needed to eat more during the day. Hooray for more sleep!!! :-)

We feed every three hours and my LO gets 5 feedings a day. She nurses once in the morning and once before bed and then gets 3 5 oz bottles at daycare. I increased the daycare bottles volume when we dropped a feeding when we moved her bedtime earlier. DD is 4 months old.

I didn't increase the number of feedings BUT she seem to be nursing LONGER on the breast now that she's STTN. So I guess she's just drinking more during each session to compensate.

I didn't, because he is 12 months and STTN. He eats full solid meals.

How old are your boys?

My boys normally eat 8 4 oz bottles of breast milk in 24 hours. Now that they're sleeping longer stretches at night, I realized that they only get 7, sometimes 6 feedings. I normally feed then every 2.5-3 hours.

When your LOs started sleeping longer through the night, did you increase the number of feedings during the day, or how much they ate?
