Yam you can feel pain yet numb at the same time. It's awful. The later I get in pregnancy the worse it's been getting. My hands were also really sore for a few hours into the day. It was so weird. My doc didn't really have an answer for me. It started around 32 weeks and lasted for a solid 8 weeks PP. My OB said it was carpal tunnel and I could deal with the weird numbness/pain when I was pregnant but found it hard to care for baby once he was here. I ended up buying an over-the-counter wrist guard thing that you sleep in - i'd just whip it off for middle of the night feedings and diaper changes. It was worth the $30 because it really helped!</p> <p>I also had the tendinitis...so double whammy! I ended up going to an orthopedic for that issue (which reared it's head about 4 weeks PP) and they said it's common in mothers of infants. It was diagnosed as tendinitis.</p> <p>I am now 30 weeks pregnant and my left arm, hands and fingers have been numb for 2 days. It feels different from last time...could this be carpal? Did you have carpal during your pregnancy? I hope this doesn't last as long. And yeah, I feel numb but it also hurts...if that makes sense?! :-) </p>
