@NorCalWayfarer: Just wanted to update that I got the Sena and LOVE it! I'm only planning to use it at home and for local travel, and maybe the Lotus for flying-type travel. The Sena is so easy to open and close. Even with my current pain issues it was so simple to set up!

@spaniellove: one of my friends has the Sena. She says the padding is nicer than the average Pack N Play. I think it looks pretty nice, too!

@NorCalWayfarer: I think I'm going to just pull the trigger on the Sena because after wrestling with the fold/unfold of the Arms Reach I'm not even going to touch our Pack N Play.

@spaniellove: Haven't made a final decision yet. But we are borrowing a bassinet from a friend, so now we really don't need the dual task of bassinet and light travel crib. So I'm leaning toward the Guava Lotus as well since it looks so great for traveling and it's so light! The Sena Travel Cot is 21 lbs and the Guava Lotus is only 11lbs. They've also just come out with a Lotus bassinet which attaches to the Lotus Everywhere Crib frame (but it's not really interchangeable in that you don't just put the bassinet over the crib -- you just uses the same frame). http://www.guavafamily.com/products/lotus-bassinet

Let me know what you end up deciding!

@NorCalWayfarer: Just curious, what did you decide about the Nuna Sena? Not looking to use it as a travel crib (except maybe very local); I think we'll use a Guava Lotus for trips back home to CA. But we need an alternative to the Arms Reach which it turns out I hate, and I'm thinking of getting this.

@ShootingStar: I'm not sure.... I actually don't have any experience with any playards, but I'm looking for something that we'll be able to travel with (on the plane and in the car) and that's easy to set up/tear down.

@shinymama: Oh nice! Yeah I need to look at other options like the Guava Lotus and 4moms Breeze. Any other suggestions from anyone else?

No experience with the Nuna Sena, but we have the Guava Lotus and love it. It folds compact enough to carry on a flight, so we're able to corral DS while waiting in terminals. I think that the same company released {or will release} a bassinet also.

Anyone have or have experience with the Nuna Sena playard? I'm intrigued because I'm looking for a bassinet/travel crib/playard that can be taken on a plane and easily moved for travel/car trips. The PnP seems too large and cumbersome.

http://www.giggle.com/Nuna-Sena-Travel-Cot---Black/SEN56F,default,pd.html

ETA: Anyone have any other suggestions for playards that are easy to travel with?
