We had the furniture set up and basic clothing/sheets/towels washed a little over a month before my due date, but I was decorating the nursery until the weekend before my induction. We still have a few things that we never hung up, but we don't have time to do it now. If you're breastfeeding, you'll spend a lot of time in the chair. I'm hoping to have all the basics in the nursery before tax season. I'll be 35 weeks when tax season ends so I want to be prepared with just the basics if I went a few weeks early. Tax season is pretty hectic, I don't foresee spending much time on nursery prep while working 60 hours per week. My baby shower is tentatively scheduled for about two weeks before tax season ends, but I'm thinking of having a few packs of diapers, some bath stuff, a few basic onesies, a few blankets, plus the crib and changing table ready before tax season.</p> <p>Are there any major items I'm forgetting? I figure we'll get the car seat at the shower, when I'm about 33 weeks, and install it then. </p> <p>When did you have your nursery set up? </p>
