@leilalou: We're using Wookiee the Chew prints for our nursery as well! I love them. I used to collect classic Pooh stuff and DH is a big Star Wars nerd, so they're kind of perfect. :-)

I'm planning to get some wall stickers from Pop & Lolli! http://www.popandlolli.com/shop/all

I'm also planning an art project with vintage sets of cards my mom and grandmother used to play with.

Well, I painted one myself! It is actually what started the theme of the room. I painted it about 2 weeks before I got pregnant.

And I also bought a couple from a local painting store, that had been painted by some other patrons who had taken a painting class.

we wanted to do a jungle theme, we found this place that sells wall art. it's really sturdy poster board wall art with sticky tabs. it worked for us, and we liked that they had big sizes, and different themes. the 2nd link is how we ended up using some of the wall art on a painted background.

@eiko2010, I know! I forgot where I first came across it, but I'm obsessed now. My husband bought me the first book. I love it.

We only have two things of "art," one is an alphabet I hand painted over the crib right on the wall and the other is a series of 4 canvases of sleeping animals my husband and I painted. I wanted to be able to keep those, even though I am sure my son will think they're silly.

My mom painted the art on our nursery walls. She took photos of the bedding and projected the pieces she wanted onto canvases. She then lightly traced the patterns/images (it was a sheep theme) on the canvases and then painted the canvases. We affixed ribbons for hanging. She did this for my sister's two nurseries too but she painted directly on the walls like a mural. I wanted to be able to have one of the paintings to put in my hope chest once my baby grows out of his nursery as a keepsake so I liked canvases better.

I have some prints done by my sister and myself that I have set aside for when I get to decorate a nursery. I'd also like to order a Wookie the Chew print as well.
