We have a similar delema and our crib is in the corner. Under one window we have the changing table and the dresser in the other corner between the windows. The chair is in front of the closet kinda like you have it..

Like you we were trying to work around windows, the closet and the heat vent. We ended up with our crib in a corner, but it is positioned catty-corner. Maybe try catty-corner (with the narrow end in the corner) where you currently have the small bookcase/dresser... and move the dresser to where the crib currently is?

Our room has a crib in the corner, it just made the most sense for our space. I think it works well. I would be worried that diagonally it would take up too much space.

I really need to re-arrange C's nursery. What we have going on right now is just not working. Her room is decent sized, almost 10x11, but it feels cramped right now. The issue is that there is only one open wall and thats where her crib is. Of the other 3, 2 are large windows and the third is a double closet.

I have 2 other options. I put the crib under a window, which ours are a little drafty and one has a radiator under it, or I put it in a corner, either diagonally or straight into it. Which would you say is better?

I have attached a rough floor plan of her current arrangement and a picture of what I mean by a crib in a corner.
