I literally illustrate and develop animals into products for a living and a quarter of my job is working on layette and children's, so this is my professional opinion :) I do not find the bunny creepy and personally I prefer it. </p> <p>But, if you like the bear better, I think you should get the bear! Your kid will love either and you're the one that has to live with it. We have a rocker/recliner coming, and wanted to get a little footstool for when we just want to rock. We’re doing a little bit of an outdoors theme—animal mobile and a dusky mountain mural on one wall—and found a couple of really cute animal footstools, but now we can’t pick. There’s a bear, that both DH and I like more, but doesn’t really go with the color palette (lilac/blue/gray but with light wood furniture Stokke crib in natural and maple dresser/nightstand) and a bunny that matches but we’re less into.
