@yoursilverlining: my wipes are in the drawer and it's not a PITA ;) I just grab 2 wipes and close the drawer. :)

I would maybe add some decor next to the frame of the changing table. Or some shelving or cubes. It will allow you to put stuff there :) looks really great though.

Love what you have so far! This is one lucky baby!

I agree with a few posters above for a mini gallery above the changing table...there are so many cute prints and quotes on Etsy I'd load it up with a combo of pictures (some of you & DH plus family) and some meaningful quotes or something - maybe a shabby chic mirror mixed in. I also love the shelves and books idea!

What about a beautiful girly chandelier in the room (that is if you dont have a fan because if you have a fan I'd leave it. My nephew was obsessed with fans as a newborn and I'd leave on in there just to entertain your LO). My girlfriend put a beautiful faux crystal ceiling mount light in her daughters room and it is just so perfectly precious in her pink nursery!

Love the theme and colors - great job!

@Running Elley: Thank you!!!! Okay can I confess a completely irrational fear about shelves over the rocker? That they would fall one the baby while we were rocking in the chair! I had initially thought about putting shelves above the changing table, but this fear of them falling on her made me nix it...In FL, bc of termites, all of the studs in the walls are metal, which makes drilling into the studs a beeotch. We had a bad experience downstairs the first time we hung something into the studs that needed to bear weight...It was these 4ft shelves:
http://www.potterybarn.com/products/crown-molding-shelf/?pkey=cledge-shelf
To make a long story short, they fell so many times during installation that they were damaged, bc it was so hard to get it drilled into the stupid metal studs. I exchanged them for new ones, blamed it on bad attachments! And the second set went smoother but I'm still traumatized! They have also never fallen, but K always cautions me not to put anything too heavy on them and to be really careful when dusting them (this hardly ever happens so is not really a problem-ha!).... I know you can identify with irrational fears, lol, so that's why I am confessing my Shelf Fear! Someone suggested a clock, and I was thinking of maybe looking for a light pink big round clock? Idk:)

@Rescuemom10: Thank you so much!!!

@looch: That's true!! She is already out of control with those headband flowers! Good idea!!!

@zippylef: Super cute!!! I was torn between accenting with chocolate...I love the pop of choc & light pink...But DH said with all of her really dark furniture we needed to keep it light...

It looks AMAZING! I think that once you get the curtains up it will seem a lot more "finished" to you :) I agree about the possible addition of some bookshelves, maybe just some free hanging flat ones? Like these but dark....

I agree some shelfs or a bookshelf would be great to add. We don't have a lot of storage in our house so all of her stuff is stored in her room. It was also really hand to have PJs and socks close to the changing table. We have bins that stores things like diaper creams, hats, extra wipes, etc. On a bookshelf we have her books, toys, extra blankets, stuff like that.

@lawbee11: Thank you! That was exactly what I told DH - I hate overdone pink pepto bismol barf nurseries! So thank you for noticing that we tried to avoid gagging on pink everywhere! Just to note, the PBK blanket is a stroller blanket, so it's smaller than a regular blanket...I think the dimensions are on the item listing. But it is literally the nicest blanket I've ever touched:)

@jholler25: I have no suggestions, but just wanted to say it looks awesome! I am not a fan of nurseries that look like a bottle of pepto bismol exploded on them, so I think your pink accents are perfect and very tasteful! I am also considering getting one of those PBK blankets for myself...looks so comfy!!

@mrskc: I like that idea a lot!

@ScarletJwl: Thank you! I bought the decals off of Etsy, from a seller called "ModernWalls." There are a ton on there though, if you just search for "nursery decal."

@autumnlove: @HeatherlovesKenny: Thank you!!!!! It still has a way to go but I got excited with what we got done yesterday...I can't wait to have my little snugglebug in there!

@lydg: PBK is ridiculous, right??? I did splurge and get one of those hooded towels and you are right - amazing! I bought a multipack from BBB for like $15, and they don't hold a candle to the PBK one. But she can only have one PBK one, because after monogramming, it's a $40 hooded towel... AAAAGH! We got the pink bunny one, but I LOVE the owl one too!!!

@coacheswife123: Thank you so much!!! The crib is the PBK Larkin sleigh crib, and we got it off of Craigslist. I was so stoked! My mom was worried about us going to a stranger's house to get it, and I was basically like, "Mom, you don't understand....This crib is WORTH risking our lives for..." Hahaha:)

What about adding more frames or wall hangings above the change table to make a small gallery wall? I think that would help fill that space nicely.

Or a gallery wall by your glider, then a couple simple shelves to offset the print above the change table that can double for some easy access for a few choice diapering supplies?

@mrskc: I added a photo of the total layout so you guys can see that it can't really take much more furniture...I really pushed it by getting that PBK wall cubby off CL the other day! I think I may add a floor lamp because she has so many pieces of furniture in a small space that I don't want to crowd it...Good suggestion on a floor basket for toys right there too! I need to hide our stupid wireless routers!!

@yoursilverlining: Yes, where I threw that toy is a place for diapers...We just don't have that functional stuff set up yet....We are getting a diaper genie, but I don't know how big it is...So I def need to work on where that's going to go!

@TurtleDoves: Thanks! Unfortunately, I can't change the direction of the changing station stuff...The "lid" thingy that sits on top of the dresser that holds the changing pad and the little area for diapers and wipes is hinged onto the dresser....So I'm just going to have to be careful with that doorknob:(

This is a better photo of the changing table...Except it's reversed in the photo. Mine is diaper/toiletries to the left side, changing pad to the right if you're facing it...

I love it:) Very relaxing and chic...not over done and cluttered! I like that you won't have the valances over the windows...The long drapes look very put-together and almost adult like which is great....Great job, mama!

my ONLY 2 suggestions and you can totally ignore them if you think they're lame....but:
-See where you have the changing mat? I'm thinking move that stuff on the left to the right and put the mat to the left so that you'll have more room to stand right up against the changing pad instead of hitting against the doorknob. You know what I mean? I only say that because I had a similiar set-up and just changed it and I feel so much better.
2- You said this already....that you would change out the name decal...first of all, its really not too bad...I don't think I would have noticed if you didn't point it out. But, maybe use ivory for the name instead of a darker pink because on top of that taupe it may look purple-ish pink?
*Just ideas....seriously everything looks wonderful:)

One thought: where you have your changing table located....where are you planning on having the wipes and diapers? Is there room for the wipes on top of the table (where it looks like there is a toy sitting)? Or do you plan on having the wipes/diapers on something next to the changing table (I see there is a door right there, so maybe on the other side?...)

If your plan is to keep the wipes in the drawers at all times, IMO that will be a major PITA to have the drawer open to reach in and get wipes while you are trying to change the baby. To me it would also be a PITA to have to put the box on wipes back in a drawer after every use, and then get them back out every time. It's much easier to have them out in the open, readily available.

On a similar note - is there room next to the changing table for a diaper genie / receptacle for diapers? You'll want that close as well.
