Around the year mark I got a lot of questions about when I planned to stop, and I think because *I* felt insecure about it, people felt ok kind of discouraging continuing and or saying she didn't need it anymore. My son is 13 months old. I got the feeling from everyone they thought I was way overdue to stop. I don't know anyone who did it as long as me. The only place I regularly nurse her outside our house is daycare, though, because when I show up at the end of the day she immediately demands "MIK! MIK!" So her teachers know she still nurses, and they're very supportive.
