They stretch but don't stretch out (had them over a year &amp; still never not once had an issue with them getting stretched or saggy) &amp; I don't have to worry about a clip to undo or be seen! I really hated being able to see the clip on the actual "nursing" tank I have... I hate all my other ones. I still have just been wearing them with tanks but you can tell they have the shiny elastic edge a d sometimes a clip will show through. But I haven't worn strappy tanks or dresses yet. You have to make sure to get the right size, though. The first one I got ended up being way too big after I wore it a little while. I sized down and the top part seems tight but actually does a much better job of supporting my boobs than the larger one. I do kind of hate the straps, though. Pretty wide and the clip is very noticeable.
