I am all over cheap these days! @rachiecakes I think I am going to look at Target tomorrow. I just got off the phone with another friend who has had 3 kids in 3 years and she is all over the target ones!

@lydg: They aren't nursing bras, but like @JessLC: said there is a hook at the strap. Or you can just pull it up or down. And nursing bras can be ridiculously expensive, but these are cheap!

@rachiecakes: I also have this bra and really like it too!

@lydg: they are regular bras, but they have hooks on the front of the strap where it meets the fabric, so you can unhook it for nursing (but apparently only the regular size, NOT the full size).

I second the bravado bras from Target bc they are stretchy but yet supportive. It's too difficult to find the right cup size especially when you are petite - I found it so hard to find a 32 anything.

I also liked the sports bra type nursing bras from Motherhood Maternity bc again they are stretchy and super supportive. Almost like a really thick tank top.

Early on I wore only nursing tanks with no bra. I like the nursing tanks from Motherhood Maternity

@c.sassy i have seen others rave about coobie on the boards too. but...i'm confused, are they nursing bras or just regular bras? i can't tell on the website.

this is my all-time favorite nursing bra. I got mine at Target. I'm petite and at my most engorged state am only a 34D maybe. I would advise against bras by cup sizes (which is why this bra is so awesome) because I can go anywhere to a full B to a D depending on the time of day (when I'm full vs. empty). This bra comes in S, M, L, XL and is stretchy and supportive. I love it and have worn it since the third trimester - my baby is 7 months old tomorrow.

Whoa! Lucky you!!! I would love to go bra-less! Have you thought about just trying sleep bras?

You can always go with the Coobie :) It's my favorite bra to wear while nursing, hands down.

@mrsbells what did you wear in hospital? i'm totally open to either idea. i just know i won't be able to get out out for a while after baby arrives so i'll probably have to buy online.

I would wait to buy a nursing bra until after the baby arrives because you never know what size you will be. My boobs were huge the first few days and even now they are much bigger than during the pregnancy

I'm starting to finalize my list of what I need to pack my hospital bag. After going through old threads on what type of nursing bras, it is so overwhelming to figure out what kind to get.

I'm looking for a kind that won't break the bank, but if it's a good investment, I'm open to it. I'm super petite, ALL belly and practically no boobs. I haven't worn a real bra almost my whole pregnancy, only VS yoga bras in size M.

How do you know what size to get? Suggestions for the little people with not-very-big-boobs?
