DD always has trouble nursing with ear infections. It hurts their ears to suck. I think it can take a little while for the ear pain to subside and there could be some residual fluid, too. I want to say 48 hours on antibiotics was usually the turn-around point for her.

I feel like give it another 24 hours and he should be good! I am confident your supply will bounce back too. I never had good supply and miraculously am still nursing K2!

G is 8.5 months and got a nasty cold that turned into an ear infection. I've always had a great supply but last weekend he started nursing less while sick (before I knew he had an ear infection). He's been on antibiotics for 24 hours and his snot and eye goop from the ear infection have cleared up and he no longer has a fever. When can I expect him to go back to nursing normally? I'm so worried my supply is crap now too. I've pumped some but definitely not enough.
