It's gotten less severe each cycle though - I haven't really experienced much discomfort this current cycle, luckily. For reference, coming up on my 4th postpartum AF. It was excruciating the first 2 cycles! </p> <p>I got a prescription for APNO since I didn't know what was causing it and it helps some. The Medela breast shells helped a bit during the worst days (between nursing sessions) but I didn't use them long. My period came back at 5 months pp, and the pain is horrible. I assume it's all hormone related. Did you find anything that helps? </p>
