Vitamin C... LOTS, water, DH (if home) will take P during her wake times to let me rest and then we nurse lying down & nap together. I know nursing her is her best protection against germies so I've really tried to continue regardless of how I feel. So far I've nursed through a cold, a killer cold that I ALMOST thought was the flu (was only bad 2 days), AND strep..... P also co-beds with us. All she got was a slight cold & cough the very first time.

Hope you feel better soon!

PJ days for sure. Vitamin C as much as I can tolerate, water and rest. The dishes will still be there when I feel better.

The same as you. I'll take Tylenol or Ibuprofen but that's about it!

The worst we've had so far is a cold. I nursed as much as I could, but DH gave a few bottles so I could rest. I drank lots of water and took a Vitamin C lozenge before nursing so I wouldn't cough and startle DS.

I also take lots of Vitamin C & chug tons of water. If it's really unbearable, I'll take an ibuprofen or Tylenol.

Nurse and nurse more. I find he usually isn't as sick as I am when I do that. And sleep as much as possible.

I know there's a variety of meds that are deemed safe but I'd rather not chance it.

Just doubling up on my vitamins, drinking lots of water, washing hands often and trying like damn hard not to kiss my sweet baby! Who is also sick. Boo.

My hubby, who is also sick, is making his chicken noodle soup tonight! Woot!
