He would nurse one boob mostly, and I'd make sure to do the other the next evening. My supply seemed to hold out okay. DS is 19 months and I recently weaned. I'm pregnant, it was becoming really uncomfortable/painful. He also developed impetigo on his face and I was worried about picking it up myself. Wishing we could have kept going a little longer. I should have mentioned DD has only nursed one side at every feeding since she was born. And it was the same (left side) each time. Her one session was at bedtime and because of the way I liked to lay her in the crib after she nursed to sleep (head away from the sound machine) I could only nurse her on the one side. He's started switching sides back and forth like a maniac every single session we do, which is typically once before nap, once before bed, and then approximately a million times during the night from 3am until we get up. I want to cut out the morning session but possibly keep the evening one for awhile before completely weaning. </p> <p>When you were nursing once a day did you only nurse from one side from that point forward or alternate sides each day? </p>
