LO nursed until nearly 2.5 and several months after forcibly weaning, he still asks sometimes and gets mad if I say no. After a couple days of trying and his refusing I just stopped offering and he never asked again, although he was a bit older.</p> <p>If you want to keep with the nursing I'd just keep offering and pumping if he refuses. He went to daycare and then that evening he screamed when I tried to nurse him. Friday morning he nursed, but less than normal. Back to daycare and then wouldn't nurse that night. Refused to nurse all day yesterday, though not much crying - just turned his head away when I offered. Wouldn't nurse this morning either. Is this a nursing strike? Or is he just done? If it's a strike, any tips on encouraging him back, besides just continuing to offer? </p>
