Poor baby! :( have you sucked out her nose? Maybe try saline drops? I hope she feels better!

It's probably so she can breathe. Try decongestant drops if your pediatrician is okay with it. We went through the same thing when DS was 9 weeks.

@JessLC: Not to scare you but it could be that your LO might also be starting to teeth. Miss A had a really fussy feeding day / partial nursing strike at around 15-16 weeks and she's cutting a tooth at the moment. She's feeding much better now that the tooth is almost through (we can see it and expect it to cut this weekend) but as I understand teething can also make baby's ears hurt.

Maybe it's just the angle? I know when I'm sick, it can be hard to breathe laying down. Maybe poor thing is having a hard time and it's easier when she's propped up with the bottle?
Hope your LO feels better soon! Sick babies are the worst!

@scg00387: again with the mysteries of babies! Eh. She had an ounce from the bottle and a little bit from the boob with some major coaxing (no sudden movements, inching her mouth closer to the boob). She fed for like 4 mins and then was screaming her head off again and she went down without a peep soon afterwards. Oops she just sneezed. I think she's awake :(

The sucking action at the breast could be hurting her ears maybe? I know a nursing strike sucks but it should pass pretty quick so hang in there Mama!

My LO has a cold - runny nose, sneezing, watery eyes, a little fussy. She just refused to breast feed and would rather take a bottle, for the first time ever. I don't understand it...has this happened to anyone else? She is 15 weeks old.
