I did this with all shirts, even ones without buttons. I'd wear any shirt I wanted, but wore a cami underneath. Lift from bottom and boom...noone saw a thing!
If I were on a plan I'd probably do a fancy nursing shirt just for comfort

That is genius. I always wondered why button up shirts were thought to be so great for BFing. I always feel a little exposed.

I always pulled my shirt up instead of down which covered my chest and the pulled the cami down.

Not breastfeeding yet, but man, that's ingenious. I never would have thought to unbutton from the bottom!

OK, so I must be an idiot or something, but this never occurred to me. I was reading an article about flying tips for infants, and one mentioned wearing a button-down blouse for nursing (nothing new, right?). But the blogger mentioned that it is helpful because you can unbutton up (bottom buttons, leaving top buttons intact)-- I have worn button-up blouses to nurse for MONTHS and it never occurred to me to unbutton from the bottom up! That really does seem like a more discreet way to nurse (especially if you are wearing a cami underneath).

So when you are wearing a button-up blouse, do you unbutton the top or bottom buttons?
