I like chocolate hazelnut butter - like nutella but organic and almost no sugar. I buy it in little packets to keep in my car when I need a protein hit.

Sunflower butter is so yummy and now the go to in our house. Almond is good but not as sweet. I also like Justin's chocolate hazelnut (like Nutella). Justin's has single servings you can try.

@Leialou: nope! I've made mixed nut butter in the past by purchasing RAW nuts, ever so slightly roasting them on the stove and then tossing them into the food processor. You can add salt or sugar to taste if needed. It doesn't take long until a butter is formed! You want to purchase the raw nuts and not the roasted because the roasted are too dry and won't butter as easily...the raw still have enough natural oil that you don't need to add any. Sunflower butter can be made at home the same way, but be warned it takes longer to butter since they don't have as much natural oil. They go through a ground, flour, crumb phase until they reach a smooth butter. Just keep blending :)

I love peanut butter! Almond butter was an acquired taste but I do like it now. My SIL made cashew butter with her food processor and it was delicious.

I absolutely love peanut butter, but have never tried any other type of nut butter. What kind would you recommend?
