It was just our town's version so not super professional but it was 2 hours long. She did great in terms of being quiet / sitting still, but I think she was pretty bored / almost asleep by the end, it's a LONG time of all dancing and no words! Sometimes places will offer a Nutcracker tea, which is aimed at younger kids. LO takes ballet lessons and is very serious about it (as serious as a 3 year old can be, but more serious than her classmates) and she has sat quietly through movies and the symphony live a couple of times. I started going with my mom to the ballet around 4 too, and behaved myself. I was taking ballet by then, though, and very into it. Does she seem to enjoy dancing or watching dancers? My reasoning is she can sit through a movie, but if she gets fussy or talkative, the sound at the movies will drown her out for the other paying customers.
