If it were me, I'd take it out. I just put in the nuvaring last night, and just read this on rxlist.com... "The hormones in NuvaRing can pass into breast milk and may harm a nursing baby. NuvaRing may also slow breast milk production. Breastfeeding while using NuvaRing is not recommended."</p> <p>Should I take it out until I'm officially done bf'ing? I'm fine with lowering my production, but not with passing hormones on if it might harm DD?</p> <p>ETA. I was on the mini-pill but was horrible about taking it at the same time everyday, so we've just been using condoms, and would do that if I decide to wait on the Nuvaring. </p>
