Both are Gramercy. </p> <p>If he likes Japanese, BondSt in NoHo is AMAAAAZING but expensive. We love it so much that we go every couple of months. I can tell you exactly what to get there if you need advice. </p> <p>Lastly, Left Bank is great modern French/American. I only went once but it was memorable. It's in TriBeCa. I feel like I don't know ANY of the new/newish places! It is in 2 weeks, so preferably not something that generally books 1 month in advance. Price range can be moderate to expensive, and same for formality level. Most kinds of food are ok--not Indian, Mexican, or Chinese. He likes Japanese, Korean, French, New American, etc. Any area of the city (we live in Brooklyn and are happy to travel around there, or go into the city). Thanks ladies (and gents!) :) </p>
