It KICKED my ass! It wasn't until 8pm that I actually felt fully alert. But I don't ever take stuff like that so I have no tolerance. I would give yourself 12+ hrs before needing to function if you're not sure how you'll react, maybe take it after dinner &amp; try to crash early or take Motrin &amp; some Benadryl, the Benadryl will dry up your nose &amp; help you sleep &amp; the Motrin will decrease inflation &amp; any soreness. Sudafed will keep most ppl up though, so avoid that. My DH said I should take some Nyquil to help me sleep tonight (Sunday night) so I can recover.</p> <p>But I am nervous taking Nyquil on a Sunday night and having to get up at 6:30 to go to work on Monday! Does Nyquil knock you out, or do you think I'll be okay if I take it early enough, like 7 or 8pm? I just don't want to be falling asleep while I'm driving to work! </p>
