This month is killing me, my cycles are usually 38-40 days, but I'm on CD 47 (and NOT pregnant, I've taken 4 tests just to be sure). So ready to just have this cycle be over!

@Alivoo01: My cycles have been 29 days long, with a positive OPK on day 16, so I can't imagine I'm Oing anywhere past that... my LP is already too short. I don't know what to do :-/ maybe I should get the monitor too if we aren't successful this month.

@mrsjyw: @Running Elley: Thanks for the explanation ladies! I currently "think" I O on CD17/18, which is similar to what y'all originally assumed as well but didn't realize you actually O later. I'll be sure to keep BD until I absolutely can't anymore. Lol. I learn something new every month so hopefully this is the last missing link to us getting a BFP!

@Alivoo01: During the cycle that gave me this BFP I was taking OPKs and I got one that was deceptively dark on CD12 so I thought that I was going to get lucky and actually O like a normal person. Starting the day of that OPK we BD every day. We didn't stop until the day after O was confirmed by my temp (CD28!!!!). We were exhausted LOL. It was probably good though because I was so paranoid after I got the BFP that we had a bit of a dry spell!

@jojogirl @Alivoo01 - should've been more clear, i think my reading of the OPK strips weren't as accurate.. the monitor helped me distinguish what was my error in what I read in prev months on the strips.

When I was using the OPK strips, Id get what I thought were two lines on day 18 or 19 and would bd until then and stop.

Using the monitor I learned that I didn't O until CD22 and BD a couple days after that too

@mrsjyw: I'm with @JoJoGirl: in that I'm slightly confused. I thought you only get 1 positive OPK per cycle that meant you were ovulating sometime in the next 36 hours.

Regardless, some ladies here have 34-36 day cycles and ovulate later so I think I'll just have to pull up (or down in this case) my big girl pants and just BD like it's going out of style. Hope I don't wear myself out bc the first month of TTC, we BD everyday for a week straight and that was exhausting already!!

@Alivoo01: I was using the wundfo OPKs from amazon. We also stopped after two days of two line OPKs babydancing and testing! Which I think was my mistake. I'd highly encourage you to get the monitor or keep testing after your first couple positive OPKs to get a better handle on when your O day might be!

It's mostly 32-34 days long (although in the past 8 cycles, it's been as short as 29 and as long as 40). O day is usually around day 20 (which was earlier or later for those wacky cycles). LP is 12-14 days. I keep BD until I see the temps go up for a couple of days. Having said that, I'm trying OPK this month, to see if FF is guessing ovulation properly.

On my 33 day cycles I would usually O on CD 20 or 21. My LP was somewhere between 11-12 days and it took us ten cycles of TTC to get our BFP.

@bluestriped bee: @Leialou: I used OPK last two months and I got positive readings on CD 17 so looks like we're pretty similar. My cycles are normally 34 days long.

@mrsjyw: Prior to using the CBEFM, did you use other OPK? We usually stop BD 2 days after I "O" because we're exhausted, but I'm wondering if I should a) keep BD, b) invest in a CBEFM, or c) keep testing on the OPK to ensure I'm not getting a false positive.
